Freek Hermkens

Freek is Principal Consultant at MLC and Manager of the MLC Academy. He is a knowledge-driven problem solver with a passion for improving organizations and allowing employees to excel. His strength lies in supporting organizations in the implementation of process-oriented guidance and optimizing business processes with the aim of achieving continuous improvement. For this he uses the “Lean & Agile” methods. Keeping in mind the establishment of an organization and the role of middle management and together contributing to improved performance, is what typifies the approach of Freek.

Driven by his passion and a sense of responsibility, could accurately describe Freek. Through his honest attitude he manages to win the trust of his surroundings. Freek is pragmatic in his approach but is also highly analytical. He inspires individuals and organizations to do things differently , to do things better. That is his role as manager of the MLC Academy, as coach and as consultant.

In addition, Freek is part time PhD student at the TuE, where he is writing his thesis on: “How and to what extent does middle management contribute to the achievement of continuous improvement within the financial service providers?”.
